Hello! I am so excited to be at Midway Elementary School. As a 2006 graduate of this very building, I am so happy to be back. I graduated from the University of Mount Olive in 2011 and returned to Raider Country to begin my career at Midway Middle School. I was a 6th grade math and science teacher for 11 years, cheerleading coach, and softball coach. My teaching philosophy has always been that any student given the right environment, circumstances, expectations, and opportunities can learn and grow. In 2021, I began my journey to obtain a Masters in School Administration from Campbell University and started my internship at Clement Elementary in 2022. My philosophy remains the same and I am so excited to carry this out as the assistant principal. It is my goal to serve this community and be of support to any and all that I can. This community is home and I look forward to learning and growing with it.
I have a loving husband, Billy, and two wonderful children, Kyleigh and Macsen.
