Hi, I am Mary Beth Canterbury! This is my 22nd year teaching for Sampson County Schools.  I was born and raised in the Midway Community.  I graduated from Midway High School in 1998.  I attended Sampson Community College for two years and then transfered to UNCW.  After graduating from UNCW in 2002 I returned to Sampson County.  I began my teaching career at Union High School.  After four years at Union, I returned to the Midway Community and taught at Midway High School.  After six years at the high school I began teaching here at Midway Middle.

My husband Josh and I live in the Midway Community with our three children Walt (10), Hawkins (9), and Skye (7).  We enjoy spending time together as a family and watching sports.
