Welcome to an awesome school year! I am Mrs. Oates, Midway Middle School’s Exceptional Children’s 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Math Teacher. I believe all students can learn if given the opportunity, support, and tools. Parents and guardians, I will give my best daily to help your child achieve both academically and socially. I began my teaching career at Clement Elementary and have been teaching within the Midway district for 28 years. I received my Associate Degree in General Education from Sampson Community College, my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Specific Learning Disabilities from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, my Master of Arts Degree in Intellectual Disabilities from Fayetteville State University, and I have obtained a licensure in mathematics.
