Hello and Welcome to Roseboro-Salemburg Middle School's Counseling website!

As your counselor, I am committed to providing support services for all students to enhance their academic, social/emotional and college and career growth. The goal of RSMS counseling program is to ensure all students develop the knowledge, attitudes, and skills that will lead to behaviors that support academic achievement and social-emotional well-being.

What does a School Counselor do?

School Counselors are trained and certified in counseling with unique qualifications and skills to address students’ academic, personal/social, and career development needs through the following:

  • Individual and group counseling

  • Classroom presentations/lessons

  • Teacher/Parent consultations

  • Liaison between families and community resources

  • Assistance with 504s, McKinney-Vento services, Attendance, etc.

  • Course planning for Middle School and beyond
