Hello, my name is Melissa Leak and I am so excited to be teaching 1st grade at Salemburg Elementary!  I have been married to my husband, Frank, for 29 years and we have three daughters, Eliza 23, Annie 22, and Charlotte 18. We moved to Clinton four years ago. My husband is a native of Clinton and has always wanted to move back to the eastern part of the state. Before that we were in Winston Salem, NC for 13 years.

I have taught yoga to a wide range of students from two years old to adults in their eighties. I also taught preschool for several years before making the move to Clinton.

  I have my BFA in Painting from UNC-G and my Masters in Teaching from UNCW.
