Hi, I am Bernita Lee! I am a Reading / English Language Arts Teacher at Salemburg Elementary. I have been teaching here in Sampson County for thirteen years. I really enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge with my students. I have been in education for more than thirty-seven years. I began my teaching career in Florida and I have also taught in South Carolina.

I received my formal education at Nova Southeastern University in Florida and earned a Bachelors Degree in Education. After several years of teaching, I decided to attend Cambridge University in Massachusetts and obtained a Masters Degree in Integrated Studies.
Philosophy: Teaching has really become a part of my life. I believe education is a powerful weapon which we can use to make a difference in an ever-changing society!
