At their September 25 regular monthly meeting, the SCS Board of Education recognized the 2023-2024 school-level teachers of the year, the 2023-2024 SCS Teacher of the Year (TOY), and the 2023-2024 SCS Principal of the Year (POY).
The SCS TOY and POY will advance to the Sandhills regional competition. The region is made up of 12 counties, including Sampson. They are Bladen, Clinton City, Columbus, Cumberland, Hoke, Montgomery, Moore, Richmond, Robeson, Scotland, and Whiteville City.
