These high school teams have shown exceptional dedication and skill throughout the season, and their hard work has earned them a spot in the upcoming third-round playoffs and state championships!
Congratulations to the Hobbton High School Varsity Soccer Team for reaching the NCHSAA 1A State Championship. The game information is listed below. Please make the trip to see the team compete for their first-ever State Championship. It has been a long time since one of our teams has represented the East in any sport.
Game: Graystone Day (Dark Uniform) vs. Hobbton (White Uniform)
Date/Time: 11/18/23 @ 2:30 p.m.
Location: MacPherson Stadium at Bryan Park in Browns Summit, NC which is north of Greensboro.
Admission: Tickets are $10 and must be purchased through gofan.co (this includes a processing fee.
Spectators: Will be seated in the bleachers directly behind the team
Playing Area: Only the players, coaches, and approved personnel will be allowed on the field.
Congratulations to the Lakewood High School Varsity Football team for reaching the third round of the NCHSAA 1A State playoffs. The winner of this game advances to the fourth and final round of the playoffs. Next stop - final four of the State Championship.
