The National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) is pleased to announce that Aaron Lane, Athletic Director at Midway High School has been recognized by this association as a Certified Master Athletic Administrator (CMAA).
CMAA candidates must have a Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA) designation and be employed or retired from a public or private school. Other requirements include taking 12 Leadership Training Institute (LTI) courses and completing a project that is presented via an oral presentation or a graduate-level paper to the NIAAA Certification Committee.
To earn this distinction, Aaron Lane has demonstrated exemplary knowledge, contributions and on-going professional development in the field of interscholastic athletic administration. The voluntary certification process included a thorough evaluation of the candidate's educational background, experience, NIAAA Leadership Courses and professional contributions. It is culminated with a practical written or oral presentation project.
Aaron Lane is one of a very elite group of interscholastic athletic administrators nationwide to attain this level of professionalism.
