Five Sampson County Schools’ Seniors are the recipients of a Clinton-Sampson Rotary Club scholarship. Each of the seniors were presented with a $500 scholarship by Rotary President Georgina Zeng during a recent Rotary Luncheon.
Congratulations to the following recipients:
Hobbton High School’s Jennifer Samayoa Santiago who plans to attend Campbell University this fall.
Lakewood High School’s Jahdaija Smith who plans to attend North Carolia A&T this fall to study Agri-Business. Upon completion of her bachelor’s degree, Jahdaija plans to return to Sampson County, utilizing her degree in agriculture.
Sampson Early College High School’s Dakota Warren who plans to attend North Carolia State University this fall, majoring in Computer and Electrical Engineering.
Union High School’s Taalaya Alford who plans to attend William Peace University in Raleigh, majoring in Psychology. She hopes to one day become a Therapist.
Unable to attend the luncheon was Midway High School’s Gabrielle Wateman.
