Due to inclement weather on Wednesday, February 19, all Sampson County Schools will transition to an asynchronous remote learning day for Wednesday for students and staff. Teachers have provided students with paper copies of classwork that needs to be completed and have uploaded assignments in Google Classroom.  Per SCS Remote Learning Plan, students will have five days to turn in their completed assignments when school reopens.

All after-school activities and events are canceled for Wednesday, February 19. Any conference tournament games will be rescheduled for another day.

We will continue to closely monitor the weather forecast in collaboration with our local emergency management agency and provide updates on any changes to school schedules, including afterschool activities, as necessary for Thursday and Friday.

Official updates will be provided to our families via text message, phone message, and email as well as on our website (www.sampson.k12.nc.us) and social media platforms (@SampsonSchools).

All employees must document seven and a half hours of work time before or after the regular scheduled working hours and submit to their supervisors before May 31st, 2025 to document the time made up for the missed school day tomorrow.  Staff have the option to take annual leave if they choose not to make up their time.
