First Graders recently participated in the Fable Olympics. After studying fables and discussion of character, setting, plot, and moral, students celebrated with friendly class competition. The games were based on the following fables:
Made in the Milk Tale - Students had to balance pales in a relay race.
Fox and the Grapes - Students were to jump to get grapes.
Goose and the Golden Egg - Students participated in a relay race while balancing eggs on spoons.
