I am excited to be at Midway High School in the role of MTSS (Multi-Tier System of Support) coordinator. MTSS is a nation-wide initiative designed to identify students who need supplemental or intensive support in order to be successful in school. We will take a holistic approach to each student, considering academics, attendance, behavior, and social-emotional health.
The new REACH (Reinforce Extend Achieve Challenge Help) program is an off-shoot of MTSS. It allows time during the school day for tutoring, counseling, and enrichment.
