Peer Group Connections

Midway Middle was chosen as the pilot school for the middle-grade mentor program the state is implementing for the 25-26 school year. Three of our staff members have received six training days to lead our students successfully with follow-up training during the school year.

Peer Group Connections (PGC) is a program that supports and eases the transition from elementary to middle school. Eighth graders will be trained as peer leaders and meet with 6th graders for outreach sessions. This is to help strengthen relationships across all grade levels.

We are looking to a great year of collaboration and support for all!
