Sampson Early College High School would like to welcome Mrs. Rickilyn Blackburn to our staff!
Mrs. Blackburn is our new data manager/bookkeeper working in the front office (W237). She comes to us from Lakewood High School where she was a teacher assistant in charge of their flextime program and MTSS. She is an accounting and business admin major and will graduate from SCC in May.
She started at SECHS on Monday, January 29th, and has settled nicely into her role. Mrs. Blackburn will be the person to contact for anything dealing with student fees and attendance questions, including doctor notes.
On a more personal note, Mrs. Blackburn is married to Tyler and together they have a German shepherd, Nyla. She’s a Sampson County native, having grown up in Roseboro, NC and attended Lakewood High School.
We’re glad to have Mrs. Blackburn join us, and we look forward to getting to know her even better in the future.
