EC Self-Contained Classroom

Kindergarten
- Book Bag large enough to hold homework folder (no mini bags, no wheels); Please put child’s name on the bag
- Two 4-packs of glue sticks
- Two packs of crayons (8-count)
- Change of clothes in gallon-size Ziploc bag with child’s name on it (shirt, pants, underwear, socks)
- One pair of headphones (NO EAR BUDS PLEASE!)
- One pair of child-sized scissors
- One pack of dry-erase markers
BOYS, please bring: Washable Markers
GIRLS, please bring: 1 box of gallon-size ziploc bags
*Parents: Please purchase ABC and number flashcards to keep at home for extra practice learning letters and numbers. They can be found at the Dollar Tree. You may also want to purchase index cards to write their sight words on to practice at home. In addition, the following items are needed at home for homework: scissors, crayons, pencils, glue sticks
**Please have all materials ready for the first day of school. Place all items in a large bag and write your child’s name on the outside of the bag. YOU DO NOT NEED TO LABEL EACH INDIVIDUAL ITEM. We will label the materials as we unpack each child’s bag. We ask that you label their backpacks and the outside of their supply bags only.
First Grade
- Sturdy headphones with the student’s name in a Ziploc bag
- Pencil pouch with zipper (NO PENCIL BOXES)
- One composition book (no spiral-bound notebooks)
- Crayons (24-count)
- Pencils (regular, no mechanical) - 24-pack
- Big pink erasers (2 packs)
- Dry erase markers
- Scissors (kid-friendly)
- Three plastic pocket folders (no clasps)
- One plastic pocket folder (with clasps)
- Glue sticks (4 packs)
- Clipboard
*Parents: please do not send hand-held pencil sharpeners, markers, or colored pencils to school; these will be returned home.
**Supplies needed at home for homework: pencil, paper, crayons, scissors, and glue
Second Grade
- Two packages of pencil top erasers
- 48 wooden pencils with erasers
- Two packs of wide-ruled notebook paper
- Three single-subject notebooks
- Three plastic folders with pockets
- Two large packages of glue sticks
- One pair of student scissors labeled with your child’s name
- One package of colored pencils

Third Grade
- One pack of loose-leaf paper (leave in the package
- pencils (no mechanical pencils!!!) - the student will need 3 pencils daily; NO portable sharpeners...we have pencil sharpeners in class)

- Two 3-subject notebooks
- One 1-subject notebook
- One Marble Notebooks (SEL Journal)
- Three folders with pockets

- Earphones for computer use (this is required!)

Fourth Grade
- 1 Pocket Folder for Math

- Loose-leaf paper - 2 packs to start the school year (may need to be replenished throughout the year)
- Headphones-Students must have headphones to complete various computer programs at school.

- #2 Pencils (absolutely no mechanical pencils); they will need an ample supply all year long
- Pens (blue and black)

- Plenty of loose-leaf paper (they will need paper all year long)
- One pair of scissors
- Three glue sticks
- Earphones (please put child’s name on earphones)
Math Supplies:
- One 3-subject notebook (wire-bound)
- One 2-pocket plastic folder
- One 2-pocket plastic folder with prongs
Language Arts /Social Studies Supplies:
- One flash/jump drive (please put the child’s name on the drive)
- One 2-pocket plastic folder
- One 2-pocket plastic folder with prongs
- Four Mead marble composition notebooks
- 3 1/2 x 5 inches index cards (they will need cards all year long)
- One 1-hole puncher
- One ring to hold cards
