Your participation in your child’s education is very important to us! The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI), Office of Exceptional Children is asking for your input through the Parent Survey – Special Education.
What is the parent survey? This is an annual survey of parents of children receiving special education to report how well their school system includes them in the IEP process and the education of their child. Responses are anonymous and submitted directly to NCDPI.
NCDPI analyzes response data to highlight strengths and provide support to districts where response data indicates a need.
Your response lets us know:
- how we can improve
- how we can be more inclusive
- if you feel heard
- if your child is being educated for success
