
Help us welcome SCS new Student Information Systems (Infinite Campus) coordinator, Kaylan Dudley!
Kaylan graduated from Hobbton High School in 2015. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Information Technology from NC State. Before transitioning to SIS coordinator, Kaylan taught information technology and business for the past 3 years at Hobbton High School.
"I am excited for the opportunity to expand my knowledge of student information systems while strengthening my IT skills. I look forward to continuing to serve Sampson County Schools in this new role," says Kaylan.

Today, Mrs. Katie McPhail received the Golden Apple Award from the Exceptional Children's Department of Sampson County Schools. Her diligence was highlighted as she continually maintains compliance records. She is fairly new to this role and has transitioned from the classroom into this role with grace and compassion. Mrs. McPhail gives her all, and serves the students and families of Clement Elementary with professionalism, integrity, and utmost respect. She is, "Building the Future!"

We are 'gearing' up for our 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS SPIRIT WEEKS!
Each day, for twelve days, we will celebrate the holiday season with different "themes". We would love for your student to participate. Their participation is not required.
Day 1 is DECEMBER 5, 2024.

Congratulations to Mrs. Jennifer Jackson, 1st grade teacher, and Mrs. Bullard, media specialist, on receiving grants from the Simple Gifts Fund. Our teachers continue to provide opportunities to help Build the Future for our students.

In honor of Veteran's Day, Mr. Robert Stokes an Airforce Veteran spoke to our 1st grade class about the importance of the Air Force and his work with fighter jets.
Also, Mr. Doug Heath, an active member of the US Army brought various coins of honor to share with our 1st grade students.

Third graders turned into waiters and waitresses as they counted equal groups to find the total number of Fruit Loops they needed to fulfill the orders.





Safety is a priority of Clement Elementary School. Our Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st and 3rd Grade students participated in a Fire Safety briefing with the local Fire Department. We are, "Building the Future".




Clement Elementary School's Grade Level and Department Chairs take on the AIM Convention in Raleigh, NC. One of our Domains of Progress, aligned to our School Improvement Plan, is Teacher Capacity . Great teachers produce great students! We know our teachers will come back with valuable perspectives to benefit our students. We are "Building the Future".
