1 - Local Government Federal Credit Union Scholarship
Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be a member of LGFCU (membership with LGFCU is different than membership with SECU)
Have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.5 or higher
Submit copies of your official transcripts
Two references as indicated on the application

Eligibility Requirements:
Graduating senior at a North or South Carolina high school.
Applicants must have a 3.5 minimum GPA.
Must attend full-time at a four-year college or university located in North or South Carolina.
Must enroll in engineering, computer science, the sciences, accounting, finance or business administration.
Must be an American citizen and a member of a race/ethnic category typically considered "people of color."
Finalists must agree to an interview with the scholarship selection committee.
6 - McDonald's HACER Scholarship
You’re a high school senior
You’re a legal U.S. resident
You’re younger than 21 years old
You carry a minimum 2.8 GPA
You’re eligible to attend a two- or four-year college or university with a full-time course of study
You’ll disclose other scholarship programs that you’ve applied for
You’ll enroll and attend an accredited institution in the academic year after your selection (verification needed, as scholarship funds are paid directly to the schools).
You have at least one parent of Hispanic heritage
7 - Jimmy Rane Foundation Scholarship
3.0 or higher GPA required
Your application will be evaluated on your:
Future goals and plans to achieve them
Successful preparation as a high school student to prepare and pursue a college education
Self-motivation in completing challenging coursework
Demonstration of financial need.
14 - Foundation for Rural Services Scholarship
Be sponsored by a current NTCA member (Star Communications);
Be accepted by an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational/ technical school;
Have at least a C grade point average (GPA);
Express an interest in returning to a rural community following graduation.
The applicant’s home of record with his/her respective high school must receive one of Star Communication’s services.

15 - Hispanic Scholarship Fund
Must be of Hispanic heritage
U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident, or DACA
Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for high school students; minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for college and graduate students
Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university, or graduate school, in the US, for the 2022-2023 academic year
Submit the FAFSA or state-based financial aid forms
15 - The John Lennon Award is an annual competition open to student songwriters and composers of contemporary musical genres including alternative, pop, rock, indie, electronica, R&B, and experimental. Over the past twenty years, more than $400,000 in scholarships has been awarded to talented young musicians throughout the United States, making this award one of the nation’s most esteemed accolades for emerging songwriters.
15 - The Dolly Parton Songwriters Award is an annual, nationwide competition open to aspiring songwriters. The awards can be used as a career grant for study, instrument purchase, recording costs, or other professional expenses and are not restricted to tuition costs. Founding endowments include a lead gift from Sony Music Publishing's Rusty Gaston as well as a contribution from country superstar Luke Combs.

Interviews at each school will be held in March. Please see the application materials for the date.
Do not schedule other activities as these interviews cannot be rescheduled.
District interviews will be held on March 27 for the candidate selected at each high school.
28 - Slip General Concrete, Inc. Scholarship - UHS ONLY COMING SOON
Slip General Concrete, Inc. will be awarding a single graduate of Union High School for the 2021-2022 school year with a $2,000.00 scholarship. Application responses may be sent via email to slipgeneralconcrete@gmail.com or mailed to SGC Inc. PO Box 865 Clinton, NC 28329. All applications must be submitted or postmarked by February 28, 2022.
Applicant Requirements:
GPA of 2.5 or higher
Majoring in engineering, business, agriculture, or in a construction field

28 - Clinton Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Scholarship
Any senior who will attend a 4 year college may apply.

28 - Dream.US National Scholarship
Applications are open to undocumented immigrant students with or without DACA or TPS who came to the U.S. before the age of 16 and before Nov. 1, 2019. The National Scholarship Award will cover your tuition and fees at one of our Partner Colleges up to a maximum of $33,000 for a bachelor’s degree.
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria to be considered for a Teaching Fellows award:
Be accepted to enroll in an approved educator preparation program leading to initial licensure in an eligible area at one of the five Teaching Fellows partner institutions.
Minimum Academic Requirements:
High school applicants or applicants with fewer than 24 hours of college credit must have a minimum unweighted high school GPA of 3.0
Be willing to teach in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Ag or Mathematics) or special education licensure area in a North Carolina public school, traditional or charter.
