January Scholarships
3 - GE Reagan Foundation Scholarship
demonstrate at school, at the workplace, and within the community the attributes of leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship;
demonstrate strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent);
be citizens of the United States of America;
be current high school seniors attending high school in the United States (students living on U.S. Armed Forces base and homeschooled students are also eligible); and
plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study toward a bachelor’s degree at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year.
6 - Meredith College STEM Scholarship
Applicant must major in biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, or math
AWE-STEM valued at $4,000
3.0 or higher GPA required
9 - Jackie Robinson Scholarship
To be eligible for a Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship, an applicant must:
- Be a graduating, minority high school senior
- Be a United States citizen
- Present evidence of financial need
- Demonstrate a record of academic excellence
- Demonstrate leadership potential and a dedication to community service
- Submit an official SAT and/or ACT test exam score from junior or senior year*
- Plan to attend an accredited and approved 4-year college within the United States or affiliated with a United States-based college or university
-Have not accrued more than 25% of credits needed to graduate from college.
9- National FFA Scholarships
The Built Ford Tough and America Grow Ag Leaders Scholarships along with many others are accessed via the national FFA Scholarship website. Only one application is required, but these two particular scholarships require signature pages.
10 - NC Cattlemen's Association Scholarship
The North Carolina Cattlemen’s Foundation Scholarship seeks to recognize and provide financial assistance to students with an interest in agriculture; a background, interest in or career plans with the cattle industry will receive additional consideration in review of applications.
10 - National Association of Federal Education Scholarship
The purpose of the NAFEPA scholarship program is to promote student access to a variety of post-secondary educational opportunities and mitigate factors that might inhibit students from pursuing their career and life goals. There are four scholarships, each worth a total of $5000, distributed over two consecutive years ($2500 each year).

15 - Stewart Future Language Educator Scholarship for High School Seniors
The SCOLT Ken Stewart Future Language Educator Scholarship is an award of $1,000 for a high school senior who plans on a career as a world language educator.
Must attend East Carolina
Must wish to become a classroom teacher
3.0 or higher GPA required
22 ACT or 1,000 M/R SAT required
Must be admitted to East Carolina to gain access to the scholarship application
15 - Mensa Foundation Scholarship Program
The Mensa Foundation Scholarship Program awards more than $200,000 in assistance every year to college-bound students around the globe. Scholarships are awarded based solely on 550-word essays expressing applicants’ academic and professional goals and how their personal experiences will help them to accomplish those goals.
15 - WoodmenLife Focus Forward Scholarship
Must be a Woodmen Member
May attend a 2 or 4-year college

16 - National BETA Scholarship

23- South River Electric Membership Corporation
Three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded
Applications can be found in Google Classroom and MUST BE TYPED.
Eligibility:
Must live in a home, which receives electric service from South River EMC.
Must currently be a senior in high school.
A candidate must have a recommendation from either his or her high school principal, guidance counselor or teacher and a transcript.
30 - Fidelity Scholars Program
The Fidelity Scholars Program combines a generous annual needs-based scholarship with robust wrap-around services that support students’ persistence to degree or certificate attainment.
FSP provides a last-dollar scholarship opportunity to high school seniors and GED recipients, ages 16-24, who will be enrolling at a 4-year college/university for the first time in Fall 2024.
If a student meets the eligibility criteria listed below, they can apply:
2.5 – 3.5 unweighted GPA or GED
Demonstrate financial need
Enroll at a 4-year, not-for-profit college or university in your home state
Come from underrepresented populations and historically underserved communities
31 - Dream.US Opportunity Scholarship
Need to have DACA, TPS or came to the country before November 1, 2019, and otherwise meet the DACA criteria and be admitted to one of our Opportunity Partner Colleges to receive this scholarship.
The Scholarship is for up to $80,000 to cover tuition, fees, and on-campus housing and meals for a bachelor’s degree.
31 - National Daughters of the American Revolution American Indian Scholarship

31 - National Corn Growers Association Community College Scholarship
Applicant must be an NCGA member or the child of an NCGA member.
A completed application submitted by January 31 by 11:59 p.m. Central Time.
Scholarships are for one year. Previous recipients may not apply.
NCGA will provide five $1,000 scholarships to students pursuing a degree at a technical school or community college.
